Meet Bisan Owda
Bisan Owda is an award-winning video journalist and filmmaker from Gaza. She has worked with AJ+ since 2023 to produce the series “It’s Bisan From Gaza,” which follows her life in Gaza and documents the ongoing genocide around her.
The series has become one of the most well-known reporting projects from Gaza in recent years, reaching tens of millions across AJ+’s social platforms and being recognized with an Emmy Award, a Peabody Award, and an Edward R.
