Meet Céline Tshika

Céline Tshika is a DR Congo-born, South Africa-raised actor, comedian, and filmmaker based in Cape Town. After an Engineering “degree for the parents,” she studied Acting for Film in Los Angeles and began her career in the comedy space. She created and starred in the award-winning web series 'Jess Goes West, and presented on satirical news show 'The Mix and Serve' before returning to Cape Town. Known for her satirical sketches Stank Like a Man and the acclaimed mockumentary The Wapidemic, she transitioned to the stand-up stage in 2021, becoming a 2023 Jive Funny Championship finalist.
